Intraway Signs Worldwide Agreement to Globally Measure Quality of Experience at Telefónica

Telefónica improves customer experience by measuring end-to-end customers' OTT applications to enhance IP services across all of its broadband operations.

Intraway​, a global leader in Quality of Experience measuring and reporting solutions, today announced that Telefónica ​(NYSE: TEF) has selected Intraway’s unique Quality of Experience (QX) active probing solution, to deliver a measurement and reporting system for fixed broadband and mobile services across Telefónica’s global footprint. Intraway will provide a real-­time and historical customer experience performance visibility system for OTT and other IP services, relying in a system already being used by other top CSP’s in the Americas over the past 5 years.

The Intraway’s QX active probing solution will provide a unified view and unique set of KPI’s for quality of service and quality of experience over Telefónica’s multi-vendor access networks and backhaul networks for its fixed and mobile broadband services. This solution actively measures and reports the behavior of a range of IP and OTT services, such as video streaming and other increasingly demanding applications, emulating real-time subscriber’s experience perception.
