Securing communications in embedded systems has become increasingly important as the “internet of things” takes off. Cypherbridge Systems, a technology R&D firm, announced a partnering agreement with embedded tools provider Ultimate Solutions. Under this agreement, Ultimate Solutions will now be distributing Cypherbridge’s Embedded Security and Device Management solutions in North America.

Steve DeLaney, President of Cypherbridge Systems, has seen continued demand for these solutions as secure communications in embedded systems become increasingly important to customers, product managers, and design engineers.

”We are excited to partner with Ultimate Solutions as we continue to expand our market and software product lines,” DeLaney said. “Ultimate Solutions is a solid well-established distributor with broad reach in the industry, providing a single channel with a wide range of embedded development tools. Together, we can now supply developers with a comprehensive source for embedded software development tools, security software, FPGA cores, and embedded content serving stacks all under one roof.”

According to Peter Tympanick, Product Manager with Ultimate Solutions, Cypherbridge products such as uLoad secure boot loader, uSSL public-key infrastructure and uSSH encryption SDKs will become common requirements for many of the company’s customers. “The timing is right for Ultimate Solutions to offer a robust suite of software development tools to address this market. Our customers have come to rely on USI to stay ahead of the curve with regards to development tools,” says Tympanick, who sees the alignment with Cypherbridge as helping the company achieve this objective.
