COPsync, Inc., a company that operates a law enforcement real-time, in-car information sharing, communication and data interoperability network, announced that the Gonzales County, Texas Sheriff’s Office used the COPsync network to locate a missing child within 45 minutes and hours before an Amber alert would have been issued.

Nokia Siemens Networks to provide LTE upgrade in Japan

On Monday, Nokia Siemens Networks announced that Softbank Mobile Corp is upgrading its mobile broadband network across Japan using its technology and services. Softbank has selected Nokia Siemens Networks to supply, deploy and integrate its 4G, FDD-LTE (Frequency Division Duplex – Long Term Evolution) network, which is expects to have running by the fall of 2012.

Report: Ethernet Microwave growing 5-fold by 2016
