Telemisis joins Deutsche Telekom’s M2M Partner Program

Remote site and equipment-monitoring specialist Telemisis is hoping that membership of Deutsche Telekom’s M2M Partner Program will help it to expand its international presence and secure new business in the burgeoning market.

The company’s SitePro product allow cellular network operators, terrestrial broadcast network operators and utility companies to monitor site equipment through the use of a web-based interface.

Remote site and equipment-monitoring specialist Telemisis is hoping that membership of Deutsche Telekom’s M2M Partner Program will help it to expand its international presence and secure new business in the burgeoning market.

The company’s SitePro product allow cellular network operators, terrestrial broadcast network operators and utility companies to monitor site equipment through the use of a web-based interface.

Telemisis (Bristol, UK) says installations are typically used to monitor AC and DC power supply systems, fuel levels and consumption, as well as other site facilities such as air-conditioning and security.

SitePro can be also configured to automatically transmit alerts via text message and email directly to field engineers or sub-contractors.

The new deal will see it made available through Deutsche Telekom’s global network.

“This is a strategic step in growing our SitePro business and further enhances our ability to build relationships with remote site operators worldwide and become partner of choice for remote monitoring solutions,” said Tony Richardson, the managing director of Telemisis.

Telemisis claims that SitePro allows operators to diagnose and resolve problems without the need for an expensive site visit, helping to minimize costs.

M2M forms a critical part of Deutsche Telekom’s growth strategy and is expected to generate revenues of about €1 billion ($1.3 billion) in 2015, up from just €100m in 2012.
