Telecommunications Announces 10 Coolest Companies of 2005

Award Winners Empower Business-Driven Service Providers

NORWOOD, MA. – Focusing on vendors whose strategies embody the business of technology, Telecommunications Magazine has announced the winners of its annual 10 Coolest Companies awards, the recipients of which will be honored at a breakfast event at the SUPERCOMM 2005 June 7-9 at McCormack Place in Chicago. The companies will also be highlighted in the magazine’s June cover story.

While many past honors have been bestowed upon companies with an innovative product and little more, Telecommunications consistently focuses its attention on suppliers that understand the true market opportunities and provide a package that enables service provider to address them quickly and with quantifiable business benefits.

“The 10 Coolest Companies have demonstrated the business strategy savvy, technical expertise and future vision necessary to survive and thrive during some of the most challenging telecom times,’’ said Bob Wallace, Editor-in-Chief for Telecommunications magazine. “Inclusion in this prestigious effort speaks to their success in identifying and meeting the business needs of their service provider customers.”

In keeping with the business focus, Rod Randall of Vesbridge Partners, a venture capital expert and former senior executive for several telecom vendors, will deliver the event’s keynote speech.

The 10 Coolest Companies were selected because of their business focus, which helps them directly address technology refinement, product development and the business needs of their service provider customers.
