As spring approaches in the Rocky Mountains, the Cable and Telecommunications industry is preparing for the premiere, annual networking event, formerly known as SkiTAM. This year, the event will take place Thursday, April 4 through Sunday, April 7 in Vail, Colorado.
This annual spring event has grown tremendously from very humble beginnings. Starting out with 110 attendees in 1996, the event has grown to over 1,000 attendees in 2012 and has raised over $7 million dollars during its history. Last year, the event generated more than one million dollars in revenue, saw over 1000 attendees and enjoyed the support of 133 companies in the cable and telecom industry. The event is well known to many in the industry for featuring informative panel discussions, invaluable networking opportunities, an exciting silent auction event, a closing gala to celebrate the athletes and, of course, the team ski races.
