Dutch telecoms incumbent has launched a fleet-management service for business customers in the Dutch and Belgian markets.
Branded KPN Fleet Management, the service is described as a “management tool” for companies maintaining large fleets.
KPN (The Hague, Netherlands) says it provides real-time insights allowing fleet managers to reduce costs as well as bolster efficiency and safety.
The operator is offering the service in partnership with fleet-management solutions provider Masternaut.
According to KPN’s statement, usage of the service can also help organizations to reduce their carbon emissions through efficient fleet management.
It reckons savings of up to 20% are achievable and claims an investment in KPN Fleet Management can be earned back within three to six months, on average.
KPN also says the service allows fleet managers to make do with fewer resources by helping organizations to streamline their processes.
Together with various other services that fall into the M2M category, the fleet-management offer is being supported over KPN’s cellular network.
