Telehealth program healthPERX has formed a partnership with eDocAmerica aimed at expanding its services through the addition of “board-certified health specialists” for what it claims is nearly every medical need.
The organization says the tie-up with eDocAmerica (Little Rock, AR, USA) – described as an “online doctor ‘house call’ for routine medical questions and information – will make it the most convenient and cost-effective telehealth program currently available in the US.
For a monthly fee, healthPERX (Birmingham, AL, USA) provides round-the-clock access to doctors and health specialists via a mobile app, the telephone and the web.
“Our expanded services with eDocAmerica has filled a void in today’s healthcare challenges in what is becoming a consumer-driven industry,” said Jeff Marks, healthPERX’s chief executive. “While basic telehealth is becoming an emerging trend, our combined services takes healthcare to an even higher level.”
