Digi launches new M2M system-on-module

M2M specialist Digi International has launched a new wireless system-on-module for connected devices based on Freescale technology.

Digi (Minnetonka, USA) says the small form factor of the ConnectCard i.MX28, and its compatibility with Bluetooth and WiFi technology, make it ideal for use in portable medical devices and other products in energy, transportation, industrial automation and building automation.

Digi (Minnetonka, USA) says the small form factor of the ConnectCard i.MX28, and its compatibility with Bluetooth and WiFi technology, make it ideal for use in portable medical devices and other products in energy, transportation, industrial automation and building automation.

“The ConnectCard i.MX28 provides the performance and flexibility of a system-on-module, but in an ultra-small form factor,” said Larry Kraft, senior vice president of global sales and marketing for Digi International. “Customers can develop and maintain their connected devices easily using the iDigi Device Cloud.”

The iDigi Device Cloud allows devices to be accessed, controlled, configured and upgraded securely over the internet.
