AssetWorks wins fleet-management deal with Lafayette

Fleet-management player AssetWorks has signed up Lafayette Consolidated Government (LCG) as its latest customer.

The governing authority for Lafayette Parish in Lafayette, Lousiana, LCG is to use AssetWorks’ FleetFocus management software solution to manage all aspects of its fleet, said AssetWorks in a statement.

LCG maintains a fleet of about 1,500 vehicles and its equipment includes light- and heavy-duty vehicles, buses, fire trucks, armored vehicles, recreational vehicles and various motorized and non-motorized equipment.

Naturally, its fleet-management division performs a range of activities, including maintenance and fueling operations.

AssetWorks (Wayne, PA, USA) says its software will help LCG to bolster efficiency throughout its entire organization, improving customer service as well as staff productivity.

FleetFocus is also flexible enough to let LCG adapt to new informational needs and workflow, says AssetWorks.

AssetWorks claims that its software is now used by more than 200 cities and counties in North America, including 17 of the 50 biggest counties and 35 of the 50 biggest cities.
