Verdantix calls Orange the most ecologically sustainable telco
According to the 2010 "Green Quadrant" report published by Verdantix, an independent analyst firm that provides commercial analysis of climate change, sustainability and energy issues, Orange "stands out as the telecoms operator that has been most successful in creating, marketing and delivering telecoms solutions which offer sustainability benefits to business customers."
AT&T reports nearly 6.7 million connected devices, many are M2M
AT&T announced today that nearly 3.4 million connected devices have been added to their network in the past three quarters, including roughly 900,000 connected devices in the second quarter. The total number of connected devices on the AT&T network – both emerging consumer devices and machine-to-machine – is nearly 6.7 million.
